Florida Title Pros and Docu-File Title and Escrow Refused to Resolve Better Business Bureau BBB Complaints

Consumers nationwide can request assistance from the Better Business Bureau in their local areas.  The BBB’s Standards of Trust are as follows:

Build Trust
Establish and maintain a positive track record in the marketplace.

Advertise Honestly
Adhere to established standards of advertising and selling.

Tell the Truth
Honestly represent products and services, including clear and adequate disclosures of all material terms.

Be Transparent
Openly identify the nature, location, and ownership of the business, and clearly disclose all policies, guarantees and procedures that bear on a customer’s decision to buy.

Honor Promises
Abide by all written agreements and verbal representations.

Be Responsive
Address marketplace disputes quickly, professionally, and in good faith.

Safeguard Privacy
Protect any data collected against mishandling and fraud, collect personal information only as needed, and respect the preferences of consumers regarding the use of their information.

Embody Integrity

Because we believe that Florida Title Pros of Brandon, and Docu-File Title and Escrow of Tulsa, Oklahoma, have willfully ignored and violated these standards, we recently filed BBB business complaints with the appropriate West Florida (Tampa area) BBB and Tulsa BBB (Better Business Bureau) offices.

The results of the Tulsa complaint are as follows:

Complaint ID#: 38041692
Business Name: Docu-File Inc.

Because Docu-File refused to address and resolve our complaint, the Tulsa Oklahoma BBB now includes the complaint, and its unresolved status, on their Tulsa website.  The Tulsa Better Business Bureau’s review and rating of Docu-File has been lowered to a B Minus.

The results of the West Florida complaint are as follows:

Complaint ID#: 67238221
Business Name: Florida Title Pros of Brandon

As you are aware, BBB has been pursuing the mediation of your complaint. You have indicated that you are not satisfied with the business’s response to your issues, and the dispute appears to be at an impasse.

Our goal is to successfully bring businesses and customers together to resolve their disputes. We rely on the voluntary self-regulatory power of businesses to achieve this. In many cases, a satisfactory resolution is achieved.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, and BBB can no longer pursue the matter.

Your complaint has been closed and will be reported to the public reflective of your dissatisfaction with the business. A business’s complaint record influences the BBB Business Review given to people looking for information about the business.

Thank you for giving your BBB the opportunity to serve you.

Because Florida Title Pros refused to resolve or mediate a solution to our complaint, the West Florida BBB now includes the complaint, and its unsatisfactory status, on their website.  The West Florida  Better Business Bureau’s review and rating of Florida Title Pros of Brandon has been lowered to a C.

It is our hope that potential Docu-File and Florida Title Pros customers will consider this company’s unresponsiveness and customer service failures prior to selecting them for title and escrow services.
